ABOUT SCARLET HOPE
Scarlet Hope exists to share the hope and love of Jesus with women impacted by the adult entertainment industry. Scarlet Hope serves women through two specific programs: The Outreach Program and the Career Development Program. The Scarlet Hope Case Management model is trauma informed, client centered, strengths based, goal oriented, outcome based and offers unconditional regard and care to the vulnerable women served.
Scarlet Hope is very intentional about creating a trauma-informed setting where women can stabilize and heal and grow. This is evidenced by our intentionally calm and beautiful environment, regular staff training to assist all staff with understanding the impact of early trauma on the life span, and professional case management and counseling services to promote healing and overall stabilization.
YOUR INTERNSHIP ROLE
Scarlet Hope exists to engage exploited women by sharing the gospel, creating community, and empowering women to stabilize and heal. All Scarlet Hope programs serve women impacted by the sex industry through Strip Club Outreach, Text Outreach, Hope for Her, Job Skills training and through their Resource Center.
An internship at Scarlet Hope may involve planning and executing weekly outreach, discipleship and community programs as well as helping with Scarlet Hope’s On-The-Job Training Program. This work will often require active problem solving and effective interpersonal skills along with efficient administrative skills.
DURING THIS INTERNSHIP, YOU WILL:
- Assist in updating and organizing case management resources and partner lists
- Assist in the upkeep of the Scarlet Hope Resource Center
- Assist in planning and implementing all weekly program activities: Club Outreach, Hope for Her, Text, Intake, Job Skills Training etc.
- Various tasks such as general admin, updating and maintaining food pantry inventory, ensuring that the rules and regulations for the commercial kitchen are maintained per Health Dept. standard, receiving and sorting donations, and any other tasks as assigned by the Outreach Coordinator.
- Participate in Club Outreach planning and execution on a weekly basis
THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF:

- Strong administrative skills and competent with Google Suite
- Flexible to meet the changing needs of the ministry
- Willing to go above and beyond to partner with staff to meet needs of clientele
- Organized and task oriented
- Relational and willing to interact respectfully with clients on a daily basis
