Dear Friends of LTN –
I am writing to make you aware of a transition about to take place in my life and in the ministry of Love Thy Neighborhood.
Since September 2018, I have had the privilege of serving as Director of Donor Relations of Love Thy Neighborhood. I have been so excited to serve in this role because of the impact LTN makes on local ministries as well as in the life of Christian young adults. Introducing many of my friends and supporters to LTN has been a true joy. I have seen your gifts make a real impact. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to work with Jesse Eubanks and the staff of LTN, and I will always cherish the time I got to spend with our interns and ministry partners.
On September 30th, I met with Jesse to resign my position with LTN. I am writing today to share with you the circumstances that led to this decision.
Last Thanksgiving, my mother passed away. A short time later, my father moved in with my husband Jim and me. His health is declining and I now feel the need to be home with him. In addition, my husband Jim is retiring in December and I also want to be more available to him as he enters this new season of life.
As I weighed how I might be more more involved in caring for my father and also enjoy time with Jim in his retirement, an opportunity was presented to me to work for PreBorn, a national pro-life ministry that I have known for 25 years. This was not an opportunity I sought out, but God saw my burdens and has given me a unique offer with PreBorn.
In addition to being able to work from home full-time, they have also offered for Jim to work with me. This will allow me to be more available to my father and also give Jim and I the chance to work together to save unborn lives.
I serve an awesome God, and I believe this is His perfect plan for me during this time. I also believe He has great plans for Love Thy Neighborhood. I love Jesse and his heart for people. He is doing a wonderful job of training the next generation of Christian leaders here in our great city. I believe in the work of Love Thy Neighborhood and I pray that you will continue your relationship with this wonderful organization. I look forward to continuing to cheer for LTN and for their supporters as they impact our city with the love of Jesus!
P.S. Love Thy Neighborhood is now seeking a Director of Donor Relations. If you know anyone who may be a good fit, please let them know about this wonderful organization and send them our way!
